Describe the expected change
Start with a concrete sentence: "I want the prospects to include my three offers and ask for a quote," or "I want the team to follow each file without copying the information." These are examples of formulation, not results already obtained.
Specify who will use the result: prospects, clients, collaborators or partners. A public site and an internal tool can share an identity, but their journeys meet different needs.
Inventory what exists
Gather the current site, commercial media, text, logo and visuals that you are authorized to use. Report the contents to write, the translations to be expected and the items you wish to keep.
For software, describe a file from its arrival to its closing. Identify those involved, validations and exceptions. Use fictitious or anonymous data in the first exchanges.
Separate the kit from the suite
Sort your needs into three sets: essential to launch, useful after the first returns and idea to study later. This classification facilitates arbitration if a function takes a long time or depends on an external provider.
CRM connections, payments, multilingual, data recovery and offline operation should be reported early. Their feasibility depends on the environment and can change the design.
Organize validations
Identify a person who centralizes returns. Indicate who validates texts, design and features. A consolidated and reasoned return avoids conflicting decisions.
For THEPEEAK display sites, the deadline is 48 to 72 hours. The framing specifies the necessary contents and the starting point. For a complex platform, the calendar depends on business rules, integrations and validations.
Your eight-response brief
- What activity do you perform and for which audience?
- What change do you expect from the project?
- What can a visitor or user do?
- What content and tools already exist?
- What features are essential to launch?
- Which languages, countries and means of payment are involved?
- Who is valid and what deadlines are important?
- What budget, maintenance or access constraints should be taken into account?
You can also attach examples of design by explaining what interests you: readability, organization, sobriety or interaction. A reference helps to understand each other; It must not be copied.
The first exchange also serves to clarify unknowns and identify decisions to be made.
